Beijing is an amazing place and is well known for its long history, superb food and friendly people. As the cultural center of China, Beijing offers TEFL course participants the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of this exciting and fast developing great city. Abundant with culture and history, Beijing is one of a few Chinese cities, which has retained its cultural relics. The Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, and the ancient Qianmen area have remained culturally intact.

While daytime Beijing offers visitors a wealth of cultural attractions to experience, nighttime in the great city can be full of adventure and surprise. With diverse activities from the Beijing Opera and martial arts displays to pubs, clubs, dance venues and concerts, Beijing holds something for all tastes. With friendly, curious and helpful people offering a warm welcome and a friendly smile, Beijing truly is a superb location for TEFL courses in China.

Beijing is a large city, stretching 180 kilometers from north to south and 160 kilometers from east to west. The estimated total population of the eighteen districts here is 12 million people. Beijing is the center of politics, culture, and international exchange, as well as a large metropolis of industry, finance and trade.

We offer two accommodation options for our TEFL students in Beijing. The first option is a  private room in a shared Chinese apartment with 2 or 3 bedrooms, standard kitchen and bathroom. Unfortunately, the number of these rooms is limited and is allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

The second option is a homestay with a local Chinese family. This offers the opportunity to experience the local Chinese culture and language. This option also includes all meals.
