The BridgeTEFL certificate is an intensive four-week, 140-hour course that prepares you to teach English anywhere in the world. Program graduates will finish the course with a better understanding of the English language, practical experience with a variety of teaching techniques, and confidence in the classroom.

BridgeTEFL trainers are professionals in the field who are experienced in teaching English and dedicated to training English teachers. All of our teacher trainers have either an M.A. or certification in TEFL and extensive practical teaching experience in a variety of contexts.

The Bridge-Linguatec TEFL training center is located in Suzhou is located in the charming old city center, putting trainees within easy access to the attractions of the lovely "Venice of the Orient.", on the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and on the shores of Lake Taihu in Jiangsu province, China.

Beyond its picturesque beauty, Suzhou has much to offer TEFL trainees in cultural richness�from UNESCO World Heritage classical gardens and regular offerings of folk music and dancing, to mouth-watering cuisine, and modern nightlife options. This city of 6 million is only a 45-minute train ride from Shanghai, and countless other area attractions.

Our TEFL school offers a pleasant classroom atmosphere with a student lounge and free computer and WiFi Internet access. A variety of inexpensive authentic Chinese restaurants are across the street from the center, and an array of Western and fast-food options are located nearby.

In China, trainees have the option of staying in a shared apartment with a local resident. Shared apartments are ideal for trainees who want to live with local people and have the opportunity to truly immerse themselves in the culture and the language. In a shared apartment, you will have your own bedroom, but you will generally share a bathroom and a kitchen.
