ELC Trinity Cert TESOL Course in Prague
 European Language Centres (ELC) offers its challenging
and rewarding 4-week Trinity Cert TESOL course in
Prague. No previous teaching experience or
second language is required to participate on a
course and teach abroad. Our course provides an
excellent insight into TEFL approaches, methods
and hands-on teaching practice in real
classrooms. This is key in being prepared to
plan and deliver effective English lessons, a
solid foundation when beginning your first
teaching job. Additionally, we offer continued
job guidance to ensure your employability
worldwide.
 Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is
situated on the River Vltava in the very heart
of Europe. It is an incredibly beautiful city
which has survived wars and revolutions almost
unscathed, has a medieval centre of winding
cobblestone streets through which you can wander
and discover palaces, churches, museums,
bridges, squares and backstreet pubs serving the
Czech’s world famous beer. Travelling within the
Republic is inexpensive and easily managed. The
rolling countryside of Bohemia is studded with
well-preserved medieval towns, and there are a
number of fascinating places to visit within
easy reach Prague.

 The course: The course is predominantly practical in nature,
and a significant proportion of your time will
be dedicated to teaching practice, where you
will put what you have learned about the theory
of teaching into practice. Lectures, workshops
and observation of experienced teachers take up
approximately half the course time. Teaching
practice, the most practical and important
element of the course takes up the other half,
and is conducted with real students of English.
In addition to what is essentially a full
working day, most evenings and some part of the
weekends you will be busy with lesson
preparation, homework, background reading and
longer written assignments of a practical
nature.Entry Requirements: Candidates
will be eligible to take the course on the
following conditions:
- They are over 18 years of age, fit, healthy
and prepared to devote a lot of time and energy
and without outside commitments which might
affect their attention on to the course.
- They have obtained the necessary
qualifications for entry to Higher Education.
- In the case of mature students, without a
formal Higher Education qualification, they are
considered to have acquired sufficient
experience to equip them with the necessary
academic and study skills.
