Via Lingua Crete:
Via Lingua Crete is located in Chania (pronounced ha-nia), on the northwest side of the island.  Known for its quaint harbor area that is beautiful year-round,  trainees are always within walking distance to cafes, clubs, shops, super-markets, etc.  when on break during the day.  We offer a TEFL certificate course which is practical in nature and fully complies with all international standards in the TEFL industry. The real bonus, however, is learning this skill in one of the most sunny climates in the Mediterranean! 

Our TEFL course involves 120 hours of tuition and includes 10 hours of "classroom" teaching practice. Trainees teach 4 levels of English (Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced) as early as Day 3 on the course. 

In the morning, there are sessions on the skills and methods of teaching. The afternoon consists of teaching practice (in small groups), lesson observation and lesson preparation. The day ends with teaching one of the 4 different levels of English to local adult, usually Greek, residents.

TEFL Certificate Course:
Our TEFL certificate course is divided into six areas:

- Classroom Management
- Teaching Skills
- Language Awareness
- Phonology
- Unknown Language (candidates are taught an unknown foreign language, usually Greek)
- Teaching Practice
