CELTA Courses in Berlin - Germany TEFL Training
 The Berlin School of English provides intensive teacher training
courses leading to the internationally recognised Cambridge CELTA
certificate. In addition the school provides courses in general and
business English and German as a foreign language.
We have both British and North American trainers
in our team and experience with working with
teachers and trainees from all parts of the
world. Members of the training team have
teaching experience in countries as diverse as
Japan, Turkey, Russia, Bangladesh, Poland and
Spain as well as Britain, the United States and
Canada. All our trainers have worked in Germany
for several years and have taught business
English courses for major German corporations.
In addition to their experience as language
teachers and teacher trainers, most members of
the training team have experience in educational
management in language schools. This means they
combine pedagogical expertise in both general
and business English teaching with awareness of
what employers expect from newly trained
teachers.
CELTA is widely recognised throughout the world
as an initial qualification in English language
teaching. Over 10,000 people successfully
complete CELTA courses each year. CELTA
certificates are awarded by The University of
Cambrigde English for Speakers of Other
Languages (Cambridge ESOL
Courses
Cambridge CELTA -
intensive 4 week courses offered throughout the year.
There are 120 contact hours. In addition to this
trainees can expect to spend about 80 hours
working on lesson planning, assignments and
other course related work and about 20 hours on
pre-course tasks.
