Safe by most standards, enjoying all of the conveniences of a modern capital city but with a uniquely European character, Berlin offers a secure but exciting environment either as a base or a stepping stone towards the "wild east". The cost of living in Berlin and Brandenburg remains lower than in much of the rest of Germany and western Europe. The LSI CTEFL training and teaching practice take place in the centre of former West Berlin. We are just 3 minutes walking distance away from the the famous Kurfürstendamm with all its shops, restaurants and entertainments. The nearest U-Bahn Station is Uhlandstraße (U1) that connects the City West with Berlin Mitte, Kreuzberg and Prenzlauerberg. The school is in the neighborhood called Berlin-Wilmersdorf and with the beautiful Ludwig-Kirchplatz right outside the school this green and safe residential area represents urban living at its best.

Location and Facilities:

While doing your course here at LSI you can make full use of our office equipment. Our Prep room is equipped with a library, a photocopier, a laminating machine and all other materials and resources needed for teaching and learning how to teach. There are also three computer places available allowing access to the printer and the internet. Coffee and tea are provided, and you may use the kitchen for making sandwiches or eating your packed lunches.
