Accademia Britannica - International House, Rome:
Every year International House prepares more candidates worldwide than any other organisation for University of Cambridge ESOL Teaching Awards.

International House developed the first training course for teachers of English and has continued to innovate both in pre‐service training and teacher development.
Globally, the language teachers that we train are acknowledged as amongst the most able, creative and authoritative within their profession.

The Teacher Training Department at Accademia Britannica – International House in Rome started more than thirty years ago to cater mainly to the needs of the local International House schools, and in time it expanded to become the largest in Italy. In 1997 the Department was one of the first in the world to pilot University of Cambridge ESOL new Extension Course for Teachers of Young Learners.

The school is centrally located and close to the Colosseum, San Giovanni in Laterano and Stazione Termini. A fully equipped Self Study Centre that includes an extensive library of materials for lesson planning and reference is accessible to trainees, who are also provided with their own room that includes photocopying and IT facilities.

University of Cambridge ESOL CELTYL (Extension Certificate in English Language Teaaching to Young Learners): intensive course in June 2009
