The ICAL TESL/TEFL Certificate is what you need to become a certified teacher of English as a second or foreign language. This course will prepare you for any English teaching situation. The course is worth 100hrs and it will give you a solid understanding of the principles behind teaching English as a second or foreign language as well as a wealth of practical ideas on how to make any lesson a fruitful and enjoyable experience for both yourself and your students. The ICAL certificate you will earn upon successful completion of the course has been accepted worldwide, with ICAL graduates working across the globe.

The ICAL TESL/TEFL Certificate with Teaching Practice (US$395)
This course covers all the essentials of teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language with an in-depth approach and monitored teaching practice. This course is for teachers already working in a school. It will help you to consolidate your current knowledge and bring new ideas and fresh methodologies into your classroom as well as adding to your teaching credentials.

As well as the assignments included in the modules, you will also be required to submit the following:
- Teacher's Diary: a detailed record of your classes, lessons and experience at school covering your time following the course.
- Videoed Lessons: at least 3 lessons need to be videoed; these will be assessed as part of your final grade.

The ICAL CALL Certificate course (US$315)
A thorough introduction to CALL - Computer Assisted Language Learning. Taking you from the very basics of what CALL is to an in-depth look at how to set up a lab, which programs to use and how they can be best used in the classroom. Plenty of sound CALL activities and exercises.

It assumes minimal knowledge of computing (you just have to know how to use the Internet and email) and takes you through the 5 modules step-by-step with plenty of help from your personal tutor. To take this course you will need to have an internet connection and will be expected to download and use new programs (n.b. your tutor will be able to help you with this if required). All the material and software you need will be supplied or is available freely online.
