The English World TEFL program has been designed in accordance with international TESOL guidelines to provide our trainnees with essential theoretical foundations and practical experience of the highest quality. The courses are offered in Madrid or Valencia. We offer TEFL jobs once you have finished your course. The TEFL course lasts 4 weeks and you will learn all the techniques required to teach effectively once you start your teaching career. During the course you will have to teach classes to non-native students under the supervision of your trainers who will give you constant feedback on your performance.
During the course you will learn effective Lesson Planning. We´ll cover the different skills: Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Grammar and Vocabulary, so you can teach them confidently. You will also cover Class Management, English for Specific Purposes, Teacher Behaviour, Teaching Business, Children, First Certificate among other subjecst. From the first week you will be set in a real class so you can observe and teach, always under the supervision of your trainer.
During your TEFL course you will receive a few hours of basic Spanish classes and some hints about Madrid or Valencia to familiarise you with the city.
