Since 1985 S-TESL, located in Seattle, has worked in cooperation with Seattle University College of Education to offer TESOL Certificates and a state-approved ESL Endorsement. In addition, S-TESL courses may be taken for graduate status credit and transferred into various graduate programs at Seattle University. Master's programs in TESOL, Adult Education and Training, and Curriculum and Instruction are available. S-TESL offers its classes in three formats: a monthly intensive format (leading to the 12 credit certificate), evening classes on the quarter schedule, and online classes on the quarter schedule. The Intensive I class is offered 11 times per year.

The 4 - week TEFL course TEFL courses near New York city, in West New York and Newark, New Jersey, provide participants with an Internationally recognized certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. The course has a very practical emphasis and features a high proportion of actual teaching practice hours in the classroom. The course is externally validated and moderated by the BOAA (Board of Academic Advisors). Students are assessed on their understanding and practical application of the course content through teaching practice and the compilation of a teaching journal.
