Queen's University School Of English, Ontario:
At the School of English in Queen's University in Kingston, on the northern shore of Lake Ontario, Canada, we have developed two courses in the field of Teaching English as a Second Language. The Introduction to Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) is a part-time course is designed for members of the Queen’s University and Kingston communities who are interested in learning the basic skills of teaching English as a second language. This course is also available to QSoE students who are either studying or who have completed the ESLA 150 - University Preparation course.

The International TESL Training Program is a full-time program designed for international teachers of English for whom English is a second language. Participants will gain knowledge of a wide variety of techniques and strategies for teaching ESL using an integrated, communicative approach to language teaching common to North America. ITESL candidates will experience English-immersion in the Canadian context while learning about various aspects of Canadian culture by participating in activities and field trips.
