Onsite TEFL / TESOL Certification Program (4 weeks) in Denver:

TEFL / TESOL Certificate Course Content:
TEFL/TESOL classes are 4 weeks, full time, Monday - Friday. The certificate course comprises 3 main components - Teaching Methodology, Language Acquisition and Student Teaching Practice (Practicum):

1) Teaching Methodology:
These are the skills that are essential to each teacher, and include: Classroom management; Personality and language assessments; Curriculum development; Lesson planning

2) Language Acquisition:
The components of language learning will be covered: Reading; Writing; Speaking; Listening; Grammar; Phonetics and linguistic analogy

3) Student Teaching Practice (Practicum):
20 hours of student teaching / observation / tutoring within a local ESL classroom is required to successfully complete the TEFL / TESOL certification program. These practicum hours allow each student to gain firsthand experience working with real ESL students, whether it is in an actual classroom setting, or by tutoring a non-native speaker privately.

Online TEFL / TESOL Certification Program (170-Hours):
The online TEFL / TESOL course takes approximately 11 weeks to complete and is a fully interactive course with 20 other students. It is taught by a university-level professor and consists of 150 class hours and 20 hours of teaching practice which will be conducted at an ESL classroom in your town. An additional 30-Hour Business Professional & Young Learner module is available as an optional add-on to the main course for a total TEFL / TESOL certification of 200 hours. Our online TEFL course uses the same curriculum, homework, Practicum and professional certification and accreditations used in our international onsite TEFL courses.
