Teach International offer three different TESOL qualifications:

Foundation in TESOL
Our Foundation in TESOL course consists of a 40 hour (five days) in-class component along with 60 hours of online course material. This course makes up the core components of all Teach International courses, and is an introduction to the adventure and excitement of teaching English overseas.  The Foundation in TESOL course is a practical short course which offers job opportunities through our recruitment network, job search support, as well as a money-back Job Guarantee.  This course also provides ongoing access to our online teaching resources.


Certificate III in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
The Certificate III is our most popular course and is usually requested as the minimum in schools around the world as it covers the major requirements such as prac teaching, accreditation and course matter.  This Nationally Recognised Training builds on the components of the Foundation course, with the benefit of an additional 10 hours of organised practice teaching and an auxiliary online unit. The Certificate III in TESOL is NOT sufficient to teach ESOL in Australia.


Certificate IV in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
This Nationally Recognised course is essential for anyone wanting to work in Australia or for anyone wanting more in-depth knowledge of TESOL teaching. The Certificate IV in TESOL includes the same components as our Certificate III, as well as an additional 110 study hours. This course is also recommended for anyone wanting to find work in Western Europe, and some schools in parts of Asia are also starting to ask for this level qualification.
(NB: to teach in Australia, a university degree and teaching experience are also usually required.)

Certificate III & IV in TESOL are accredited by the Australian National Training Authority.
