Our 4-week TEFL course in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, provides participants with an internationally recognized certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. The course is externally validated and moderated by the BOAA (Board of Academic Advisors), and has a very practical emphasis and features a high proportion of actual teaching practice hours in the classroom.

Teachers are assessed on their understanding and practical application of the course content through teaching practice and the compilation of a teaching journal. These two are assessed separately but the final grade awarded amalgamates both sets of grades with a slight weighting towards teaching practice. Our support department offers ALL graduates of our courses unlimited access to a range of services designed to help you improve and develop as a teacher, which include:

- Online lesson plans: Graduates of our courses will be able to download lesson plans and supporting materials and activities FREE of charge.
- Online support: Graduates of our courses will have online access to advice and help from TEFL professionals FREE of charge.

Located just a few minutes from our campus, this small town can be easily explored on foot, and yet for its size, Quepos offers an astonishing assortment of international restaurants, as well as shops, Internet cafes, beaches, a farmer's market and a colorful nightlife.
