The International TEFL and TESOL Training:
The International TEFL and TESOL Training (ITTT) is a professional ESL teacher training organization that offers an internationally-recognised and accredited four-week TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate course in a range of locations worldwide, including in Brittany, a region in the north-west of France. The school is located in Plelauff, a scenic French village bordering the renowned Nantes-Brest Canal in the Cttes-d'Armor. It lies in central Brittany not far from the region's rugged coastline, steep cliffs and numerous delightful, medieval towns and is only 3 hours from Paris by high-speed train. Airports in Brittany serving destinations in France, Great Britain and Ireland include Brest, Saint-Malo, Lorient, and Rennes. TGV train services link the region with cities such as Paris, Lyon, Marseille, and Lille in France. Brittany is also on the doorsteps of the French ports of St Malo and Roscoff.

Our 4-week, intensive TEFL certificate course meets all international standards and you can be assured of the highest standards and quality wherever and whenever you take our course. The course has a very practical emphasis and features a high proportion of teaching practice hours in the classroom.ITTT welcomes all applications, regardless of gender, age, race or country. The requirements are a proficient level of English and the ability to adapt to new ideas.

In our course, students are assessed on their understanding and practical application of the course content through teaching practice and the compilation of a teaching journal. These two are assessed separately but the final grade awarded amalgamates both sets of grades with a slight weighting towards teaching practice.

Plelauff, our location in Brittany, is a charismatic and charming village situated in the Cttes-d’Amor region, close to many age-old villages dating back many centuries. Although you may take your TEFL courses in a beautiful small village, the location and surrounding areas have many facilities and amenities for you to enjoy. The surrounding region is a wonderland of typically French hamlets for you to explore in your free time.

Plelauff itself is a beautiful little village with some typically French bars and restaurants for you to study or while away time with the friendly locals. There are many summer activities to enjoy, with the local Lake Guerledan being popular for jet skiing, water skiing, pedallos and, off water, a mini golf park. Weekend visits to Paris are also an option and our TEFL training center will assist and advise with logistics.

France itself has broad appeal to all types of people and with a dynamic culture and a rich history, is considered the cultural gateway to Europe. With varied landscapes, amazing cuisine, and some of the best wines in the world, France continues to astound both first time visitors and those who return year after year, with Brittany being a major contributor.

TITC courses take place all year round in a complex of buildings dedicated to academic, leisure and entertainment activities. The training center and administrative area are situated in the middle of the complex and a lounge/ TV room is open to spend some time catching up on local and international events. There is an equestrian center located in the complex where you can arrange riding lessons for an additional charge. The village of Plelauff is less than one kilometer from the training center.

There are two accommodation options to choose from while taking our TEFL course in France. You can opt for single or shared accommodation within the TEFL center complex which is literally a few meters from the training center. Accommodation at the training center is comfortable and clean. Rooms have a wardrobe, drawers and writing tables for you to study. The accommodation boasts under floor heating. This option includes a communal kitchen for self-catering purposes, the kitchen can be used in return for a small stipend. Meals can also be provided, should you wish to have your meals prepared by your own French cook.

The second accommodation option is a local Bed and Breakfast, which is 10 minutes drive away from the TEFL complex. Transportation is provided by the TEFL center using the school mini bus service. This option provides private, en-suite accommodation.
