We offer an accredited TEFL / TESOL course which provides teacher training to facilitate teaching English abroad. With an ever increasing demand and a variety of English teaching jobs, we focus on Mediterranean countries. Our TEFL / TESOL certificate is internationally recognized and follows The British Council criteria with over 120 hours of class time. Upon completion of our program, we assist with finding employment in Italy, Spain, France, Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt.

The Language House is an institutional member of IATEFL (International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language) and is moderated by ACTT (the American College of TEFL Teachers). During our course, you will be trained by certified trainers with a minimum of five years of teaching experience and two years of teacher training experience. Our program insures quality training by employing small class sizes, and personalized preparation for finding employment in your country of choice.

Our TEFL / TESOL Course provides the unique opportunity to experience the evolution from "student" to "teacher". This hands-on program is designed to engage the trainee with active participation. At every turn, our trainees are fully involved in their own learning experience. We maintain small class sizes to promote a more intense environment and whenever possible trainers will model teaching techniques and activities which trainees will use in the classroom. Unlike many certificate programs, our teacher practice component takes place in both mainstream education as well as private English language schools. We provide the opportunity to teach both children and adults which is important when looking for work abroad.

Our Business English Teacher's Course is an intensive 30 hour teacher development program designed to increase the competence and confidence of teachers working in the ever- expanding area of Business English teaching. This week long course is designed for qualified and practicing teachers who are either working in this field or are interested in doing so. Course Participants must have CELTA/TESOL Certification or equivalent.

The focus of our job guidance is for employment in the Mediterranean region - Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt and Turkey. While attending the course, we provide comprehensive lists of English language schools in all of the above countries as well. However, we are fully able to advise on jobs in other parts of the world such as Asia and Central and South America. This is accomplished by providing effective websites and tactics for setting up a new life in a foreign country step by step.

Following successful completion of our TESOL Certificate program we offer internships, volunteer teaching, homestays and study abroad programs. This provides an opportunity to use what you have learned in "real-time" teaching. Our Post-Certificate Programs entail short-term stay packages which are mostly volunteering for less than three months.

Perfectly located on the Italian Riviera, Genoa is an old port city with charm and architectural grace. Because of its lack of high tourism, Genoa affords its visitors an authentic Italian culture with affordable prices. Its medieval old town is an intricate labyrinth of alleyways, where among the shops, restaurants, and local stores, visitors can catch sight ofthe city's noble past in its 16th century palazzos, baroque edifices, and Romanesque churches, looming over the little piazzas. While Genoa is only an hour away from Milan, a world famous bustling city, it is also close to the small beautiful gems of Lake Como, Cinque Terre, Portofino and Santa Margherita.

Our school is located in the heart of the city center near via XX Settembre where you can find great dinning, shopping and entertainment. We provide a teaching resource center as well as there will be excursion opportunities to nearby towns in the region.
