r TEFL / TESOL Course provides the unique opportunity to experience the evolution from "student" to "teacher". This hands-on program is designed to engage the trainee with active participation. At every turn, our trainees are fully involved in their own learning experience. We maintain small class sizes to promote a more intense environment and whenever possible trainers will model teaching techniques and activities which trainees will use in the classroom. Unlike many certificate programs, our teacher practice component takes place in both mainstream education as well as private English language schools. We provide the opportunity to teach both children and adults which is important when looking for work abroad.
Our course is externally moderated with all major segments graded before successful completion of the course. The program lasts for four weeks which entails 120 hours of classroom time. The first two weeks are mostly classroom sessions. The main components included are; Language Acquisition, Grammar, Phonology, Teaching Techniques, Classroom Management, Teaching of an unknown language.
Teaching Business English Certificate:

usiness English Teacher's Course is an intensive 30 hour teacher development program designed to increase the competence and confidence of teachers working in the ever- expanding area of Business English teaching. This week long course is designed for qualified and practicing teachers who are either working in this field or are interested in doing so. Course Participants must have CELTA/TESOL Certification or equivalent.
The program includes the following;
- An introduction to ESP- Business vs. General English
- The design and administration of needs analysis
- Course design and extended simulations
- A review and evaluation of published materials
- Incorporating Authentic Material
- Approaches and techniques for teaching one to one
- Case study simulations
- Teaching lexis for Business ESL
- Error Analysis and Language Analysis
- Using the business contexts of telephoning, presentations, meetings, negotiations and discussions.
We also offer an optional Combination TEFL Course plus one month of Italian lessons.
