We are currently recruiting international students. Students with low TOEFL scores can register for classes full time and receive university credit for ESL classes taught in our English Language Institute. Our English for academic purposes courses serve all majors in the university.

Courses / Programs:
EMU offers hundreds of graduate and undergraduate programs in 5 colleges: Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Health and Human Services, and Technology. Prospective students with low TOEFL scores can enroll and be placed into five levels of ESL courses, which they take for credit.

The MA-TESOL, TESOL Minor for Teacher Certification, and ESL Minor are available through the Department of World Languages.
