Surabaya has a large number of big hotels with modern facilities. Top on the list is the Hyatt Bumi Surabaya with a variety of restaurants, nightclub, and convention facilities. There are ten three-star hotels of superior standard, all with convention facilities, restaurants, TV and refrigerators as well as telephones in the rooms, swimming pools and air conditioning. Two-star hotels and those rated one-star have attached bathrooms, some have air conditioning and telephones but all have restaurants.
