Granada is the capital of the Spanish province of Granada, located in southern Spain not far from Malaga (120 km from Malaga airport).

Granada’s architecture and rich cultural history is passionately kept alive; the delicious cuisine; the resounding sound of Flamenco music played into the night; the blending of Islam and Christianity. Granada is totally unique.

Granada Cathedral is the resting place of the Catholic monarchs Isabela and Ferdinand. In the cathedral’s shadow, you can visit the Medina, the Moroccan market of shops and tetarías (tea shops) set in a complex maze of narrow alleyways. You could visit the unique Sacromonté ‘gipsy barrio’, the heart of the "Flamenco puro", and enjoy a totally different people, with their passion for music and dance, and see their fascinating cave houses.

Your accommodation during the TEFL course in Granada will be in a restored, sixteenth century medieval Hospedería in the ancient Moorish village and World Heritage site of the Albayzin. You can share life together with other trainees as part of your unique cultural experience, while working together on the course. This will help you to bond, encourage, and learn from each other.

Trainees have private bedrooms with their own bathrooms. They share a common room with WiFi internet, television, a communal eating area; a large kitchen and laundry facilities. There is a resident manager.

The accommodation also has an inside patio and a roof terrace with a view of the world-famous Alhambra. The Hospedería is a short walk to the training centre and within walking distance of Granada's restaurants, nightlife and other historical sites.
