study abroad TESOL program. We are located in Guanajuato, a historical and
picturesque city in the central part of Mexico,
about three and half-hours north of Mexico City.

 Courses: The Academia Falcon teacher training program is affiliated with internationally accredited INTESOL.
We offer a 4 week intensive TESOL certification
program starting each month as well as a
flexible version of this course involving two
weeks home study and two weeks on-site training
and teaching practice. Our program is designed
for students of all ages and nationalities, and
we offer participants the opportunity to
experience a diverse interaction of teaching and
learning a second language, including a weekly
bilingual conversation exchange.
Location: Guanajuato is a small,
beautiful, safe, and friendly university city
located in the colonial heart of the country,
north of Mexico City. Built with the wealth of
the sixteenth century silver boom, the colorful
downtown has been named a UNESCO World Heritage
Site. In the hills surrounding the city, there
are daily tours through silver mines (including
some still operational). We have 14 different
museums, several performance halls and a climate
that makes the surrounding mountains accessible
all year round.
 The city is located in a valley surrounded by
stunning mountains. Its streets and many
alleyways spread out in every
direction--winding, turning, rising and
descending with the contours of the land. Some
streets are no more than narrow stepped stone
paths, lined with colorful houses and flowering
balconies.
Guanajuato's system of arched underground
tunnels is one of the most charming and unique
in Latin America. Cars and buses emerge from
tunnels at main points throughout the city or
continue on to "el centro" (downtown), making it
a dream city for pedestrians.
Our school is situated on the most beautiful
avenue in Guanajuato, near a reservoir and lined
with historic buildings, trees and parks. It is
a peaceful and elegant neighborhood, just a
short walk from the city center. The facilities
include lush gardens, a mini golf course, a
children’s play area, a kitchen and open-air
cafeteria, an Internet cafe with Wi-Fi, a
library and tranquil spots to study or relax
between classes. The school grounds are a
beautiful learning environment.
Accommodation: It is possible for the school to organise accommodation for students in the form of
a family homestay, dormitories and apartments, whatever your preference. Pick-up from the nearby Leon airport and the local bus station are both available.

Students can then move on to teach at one of the
many language schools across Mexico. There are
