has put forth quite an admirable effort in
preserving the ambience of its many
historically-significant street and
neighborhoods. Offering a diversity if beautiful
buildings – including a meticulously-restored
opera house, numerous theaters and various
palaces, Madrid is a city “living in the now”
amongst its beautiful past.
TEFL Certification Program: The TEFL
course in Madrid is recognized by the
International Accreditation of TESOL Qualifying
Organizations (IATQuO), which exists to promote
and maintain internationally accepted standards
in the training of teachers of English to
speakers of other languages.
Our TEFL program is located within an already
established Spanish language institute presently
providing Teaching English as a Foreign Language
(TEFL) certification courses – providing modern
concepts and up-to-date facilities, combined
with the skills of TEFL-trained professional
tutors. This industry-leading certification is
accompanied by the exciting and unique
experience of living and teaching in Spain and
Madrid.
Accommodation: Accommodations in Madrid
are usually within a shared apartment with other
TEFL participants. Other housing options
available to participants are within a hostel.
 ESL Jobs Worldwide: Although most
graduates are successful in securing an
English-teaching position within Western Europe,
the actual job search does take a somewhat
longer amount of time. There are literally
hundreds of language schools in most major
cities abroad – as well as schools located in
smaller towns – which are currently searching
for TEFL Certified English instructors. Within
two or three weeks of conducting a serious job
search, the majority of students secure work
and/or are offered teaching positions. Prior to
graduation, Global Crossroad will conduct job
workshops to prepare participants for their job
search.
