Online TEFL Courses

The TITC Online Courses are available to anyone who is a native or fluent speaker of English. The courses are delivered completely via distance learning. Your course units and answer sheets are sent to you by e-mail and a CD-ROM of experienced teachers in action is either sent to you or made available for download. We are committed to supporting our students after graduation. We provide a worldwide job guidance and placement service along with ongoing career and teaching support.

Courses available include:

100-Hour Certificate Course With Tutor Support
This course is designed for people new to teaching and without any prior specialist TEFL qualifications. It covers all the main aspects of teaching English. You have the support of a tutor to assist you and to assess your work throughout the course and as such there is no exam required.

100-Hour Certificate Course Without Tutor Support
As above but without tutor support. As a result the course is assessed by means of a comprehensive final exam.

250-Hour Diploma Course
This is a very advanced course intended for those teachers who already have TEFL certification and/or teaching experience. This course is only available with tutor support.

Certificate in Teaching Young learners
Teaching children is a rapidly growing area and many employers are now seeking teachers with specialized certification in this field. Our certificate course in teaching young learners is a 50-hour online course that can be taken in addition to (not instead of) the 100-hour online TEFL course or any of our other TEFL courses.

Certificate in Teaching Business English
Again this is an area of teaching that is seeing tremendous growth and consequently there is a strong demand for teachers with specialized qualifications in teaching business English. Our certificate course in teaching business English is a 50-hour online course that can be taken in addition to the 100-hour online TEFL course or any of our other TEFL courses.

Combination Courses
These courses are ideal for those students who don't work to their best potential in intensive learning programs or for students who don't have 4 weeks to commit to an intensive course. They are only available at our Phuket, Rome & Barcelona training centres, and allow students to study the theoretical aspects of teaching & grammar etc online, followed by attendance at one of our training centers for teaching practise. The online element of the course can take between 2 weeks and 6 months to complete (depending how quickly you want/are able to work through the course) & comes with full online tutor support. Attendance at the training center is for 10 days.
