EC Boston, located in Boston, Massachusetts offers a TEFL certificate program for students who are interested in teaching English as a second language (ESL) or English as a foreign language (EFL) in the USA or overseas. The TEFL course can be taken as a full-time four-week course or as a part-time course with evening / weekend classes held over seven weeks.

Our mission is to equip prospective language teachers with an understanding of current methods and approaches to language teaching as well as practical teaching tools. Students in our course spend at least 3 hours outside of the class in observation of actual ESL classes (some at EC Boston), several hours in peer teaching, and at least 6 hours in a teaching practicum in which they teach real ESL students.

EC Boston has a great location in the centre of the city's Back Bay district, just a short walk away from Copley Square and other famous attractions.
