TESOL in Leeds, Nantwich (Cheshire), Cardiff,

Courses
In the UK we offer a range of study options,
from residential courses in Leeds and Nantwich
(Cheshire), to combined distance learning and
onsite teaching practice courses in London,
Leeds, Nantwich, Cardiff and Great Yarmouth.
4 Week TESOL Leeds, Nantwich
The aim of the 4 Week, 150+ hour accredited
TESOL certificate course is to thoroughly
prepare you for teaching EFL in any overseas
environment. You will be able to prepare lessons
for all age groups and levels and feel confident
when selecting materials and activities.
Equipped with a variety of techniques and
methodologies, you will be a positive and
resourceful teacher.
Flexible TESOL (70 hours distance learning +
2 weeks onsite) Leeds, Nantwich
The aim of the Flexible TESOL course is
identical to the 4 week TESOL - to prepare you
to teach in any overseas environment and equip
you with the techniques to be a confident and
resourceful teacher.
As a Flexible TESOL trainee you will benefit
from the flexibility of studying much of the
theory in your own time, enabling you to absorb
the course material fully. Following this
thorough introduction to TESOL theory you will
join other TESOL trainees at a choice of
training centres. Whilst onsite you will have
the chance to learn from experienced teacher
trainers, exchange ideas with fellow trainees
and practice on real language students.
The 4 Week and Flexible TESOL courses are also
available in Barcelona, Prague, Crete and Cusco
(Peru).
Cert TESOL by distance learning + one week
onsite teaching practice London, Leeds,
Nantwich, Cardiff, Great Yarmouth
INTESOL was the first TESOL/TEFL training
provider to offer its Cert TESOL course trainees
studying by distance learning the option to take
a full week of observed teaching practice. We
have subsequently been able to develop a TEFL/TESOL
course that will significantly enhance your
skills and confidence not only in the classroom,
but also during job interviews.
This TEFL/TESOL course is ideal if you value the
flexibility of studying by supported distance
learning, but also want to gain experience and
confidence in the classroom before accepting
your first teaching job.
The Teaching Practice Certificate is a one-week
onsite observed and assessed teaching practice
programme. By adding this option to the Cert
TESOL by distance learning, it means you can
really experience the best of both worlds.
All INTESOL Teaching Practice centres are real
language schools accredited by the Association
of British Language Schools (ABLS).
Entry Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Qualifications that will allow entry to Higher
Education. Mature students lacking in formal
qualifications but with significant life/work
experiences will be assessed on an individual
basis.
Career Guidance
We believe a learning programme is not complete
without support in helping you launch your
career. That's why INTESOL offers the services
of a specialist in-house careers service via our
sister organisation HuntESL, whose goal is to
equip you with all the skills and information
you need to get your foot on the TEFL career
ladder. Many students launch their new career
before even completing their studies; therefore
support starts during the programme and
continues for as long as you require it, even
after completing your course.
We can provide students with a comprehensive
listing of overseas language schools, agencies,
recruiters, and web sites advertising over
20,000 teaching jobs every month.
Our centres in Barcelona, Cusco and Prague have
affiliated language schools that hire graduates
every month. Though employment is not
guaranteed, excellent opportunities do exist for
talented INTESOL graduates within these schools.
Opportunities also exist form time to time in
our UK language schools.

Certificate in English for Specific Purposes
Designed for those who wish to specialise in
teaching English to adults in a business
environment.
Certificate in Teaching English to Young
Learners Designed for those who wish to
focus on teaching young learners and teenagers.
Diploma in TESOL For experienced,
certificate qualified ESOL teachers who wish to
access higher-level jobs such as Director of
Studies or Head Teacher in a language school.
