The English Training Centre was set up in 1997 to provide high-quality distance education courses in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). We offer three distinct TESOL Certificate courses. Level 2 and Level 3 courses are accredited by the Accreditation Council for TESOL Distance Education Courses (ACTDEC)

ETC is an independent company specialising in the provision of TESOL and grammar materials. Although our tutors work at the University of Birmingham, ETC is not part of the university.
