International House Career College:
The experience and expertise of the teacher training staff allows International House Career College, Vancouver to offer teacher training programs that are second to none. The IHC in TESL is being offered for the first time in Canada by IH Career College. This course, developed by International House in the 1960's to train its teachers, later became the RSA CTEFLA , which has now evolved into the CELTA. International House continues to conduct CELTA training around the world but, with the IHC, is able to offer a more flexible and economical course to prospective trainees.

IHC in TESL Program
The IHC in TESL Program is recognized by the Canadian Association of Private Language Schools (CAPLS), the Canadian Language Council (CLC), the TESL Canada and the Private Career Training Institutions Agency (PCTIA), by all International House schools and by major language centres around the world, such as British Council schools.
The IHC Certificate is awarded to teachers who have followed an approved course program and passed the practical and written components of the assessment procedure. An integral component of the IHC is teaching practice. This will begin on the first day of the course and continue for the entire four weeks. You will be teaching real second language students at our school, not your fellow trainees.
Good Reasons to take the IHC TESL Certificate at IH Career College:
