 Delphi
Academy of Los Angeles is an independent,
coeducational, non-sectarian day school offering
a kindergarten through 12th grade program. Our
campus is located in Lake View Terrace, CA, in
San Fernando Valley area, in the foothills of
the beautiful Angeles National Forest. Delphi
Academy Los Angeles is one of several schools in
the Delphi Schools Network, a group of
independent schools sharing uniquely developed
curriculum and teaching methods. Delphi Academy
of Los Angeles admits students of any race,
color and national or ethnic origin.
Academic Programs:
- Lower School (kindergarten through
third grade), The Lower School curriculum
provides a rich environment that teaches basic
skills and draws a young child out. The greatest
emphasis is placed on reading, writing and
mathematics, surrounded by a broad experiential
program. Academic basics are the footing upon
which an education is built and it is our
primary focus in Lower School.

Elementary School - The Elementary School
academic program focuses on four vital areas:
(1) the basics of reading, writing, and
mathematics; (2) development of study skills;
(3) practical application; and (4) integration
with a broad curriculum, immersing students in
the arts, physical and social sciences, foreign
language and plenty of practical application to
the real world.
 - Middle School
- The focus of the academic program for Middle
School students is to finish the program in
reading, writing, and mathematics, then move on
to the next level of skill in these areas; study
skills should be finely honed; practical
application can lead to apprenticeships both off
and on campus; the broad curriculum of science
(chemistry and physics), foreign language
(choice of French or Spanish), history, life
skills, art, music, and U.S. geography is
further rounded.

Upper School - Students are encouraged to
delve more deeply into specific areas of
interest. By Form 7, they can decide to focus on
an area, - Business, Science and Technology,
Humanities, and Fine Arts - in which to take
additional courses and get involved in a variety
of practical activities. Apprenticeships, both
off campus and on, are a significant aspect of
those activities
- Summer Program - which offers a wide
range of activities, including swimming, sports,
arts & crafts, music and gymnastics.
- International Studies & ESL English -
Delphi LA is qualified to issue student visas
and accept international students who wish to
study in the United States.
