Middle School in Los Angeles for Girls
 A private, Catholic middle school for girls, grades six, seven and eight, located on the corner of Franklin and Western Avenue in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles. Shares the seven-acre hillside campus with Immaculate Heart High School and has its own director and faculty, admission policies, curriculum and program of activities. Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
The academic program at Immaculate Heart Middle
School has been designed with an understanding
of the developmental and intellectual needs of
the adolescent. Students are exposed to a wide
range of learning opportunities. Field trips are
also a part of their experience.
By enabling students to explore and gain an
understanding of science, mathematics, language,
and the arts, Immaculate Heart hopes to instill
in its students a sense of responsibility
whereby they realize their importance in
society. The realization that learning is a
"lifetime endeavor" is also strongly embraced.
Essentially, Immaculate Heart strives to help
its students grow into women of great heart and
