Best Years Preschool is located in Woodland Hills, CA, in the West San Fernando Valley, northeast of Calabasas and west of Tarzana. Our programs provide fun and educational activities in a safe and loving environment; a perfect combination in which your child will learn and grow. Our students choose from a variety of hands-on activities that are created to meet the age and developmental needs of young children. Our students develop spiritually, socially, intellectually, emotionally, and physically while their natural love of learning is nurtured by supportive, qualified, and experienced teachers. Theme-based lesson plans keep children interested and make learning fun as children practice pre-reading and math skills, are exposed to other cultures and traditions, have group experiences in the classroom and on the play yard, move to the rhythm of music, and reinforce concepts through educational computer programs.

Toddlers Program; Preschool Program; Kindergarten Program. Through a variety of academic experiences, children learn reading, writing, math, and science skills.

Your child will feel safe and secure in our clean, comfortable classrooms that are designed for learning. Our child-sized furniture, equipment, toilets and sinks help your child develop self-reliance in taking care of his/her personal needs. Our learning centers offer block play, housekeeping, dramatic play, reading, quiet play, science, art, and manipulatives for exploration and problem-solving.

Your child will be enriched by an abundance of toys and equipment such as blocks, dolls, computers, music, games, and books. Children will work and play together in small groups in the learning centers around their room. In this environment, your child can become involved in meaningful, self-directed activities.

Our playground structure was built for the total development of children. Your child will spend delightful hours engaging in climbing, balancing, sliding, swinging, riding, and playing with others. Sand is strategically placed beneath areas where falls may occur, to absorb possible falls. Hard surfaces provide areas for riding toys, jump rope, chalk games, ball or group games.

Under the watchful supervision of our skilled staff, your child will be safe, secure, and happy with friends. Teachers have outdoor time planned daily, weather permitting.
