Business Chinese Courses:

Basic Business Chinese:

This course is designed for true beginning and low-intermediate level learners of Chinese who have no knowledge of the language or to beginners with a survival competence in the language. In this course students will acquire basic communication skills to deals with simple daily situations in the everyday working environment. The curriculum aims at improving students' spoken and listening proficiency in business Chinese and reading business files.

Elementary Business Chinese:

This course takes a depth look into business terms and sentence patterns; on the other hand, it explains in more details on the usage of terms and expressions in the different contexts.

This course covers most of business topics and relevant commercial vocabulary, combined with updated China’s current economical and commercial hot topics, to ensure students will not only learn the business Chinese, but also have a deep comprehension on the latest China’s economical situation, so that to lay a solid foundation for the future intermediate course.

Intermediate Business Chinese:

This course is designed for Chinese readers of intermediate to advanced levels to further improve their language proficiency; it incorporates case studies of real companies doing business in China as its teaching materials. Companies include such big multinational corporations as Starbucks, Wal-Mart, and Lenovo.

The course succeeds in putting the language instruction in a context that is relevant to most people learning to speak Chinese today that are in a business environment. Students will be able to learn contemporary vocabulary that is actually in use in China today.

Advanced Business Chinese:

The course is designed for students who have achieved intermediate level. In the class, the students will discuss in some hot and sensitive topics covering contemporary China and the world’s economic life, analyzing concrete business terms and cases. The subjects will include international business activities such as trade, banking, marketing, finance and investment.
