Instituto Hemingway Language School (accredited by the Cervantes Institute) is a middle-sized private school with about 90 students year round located in the city center of Bilbao in romantic Northern Spain since 1986. We are not only a "Spanish School", we are an "Institute for Languages and Cross-Cultural Training". We offer programs such as Spanish courses, University semester abroad programs, internship programs, volunteer work, adventure tours, and more.

No matter which program you choose, how long you stay, where you want to go or what language you speak, our goal is to help our participants fully immerse themselves in another culture. Each program is structured to help you learn about the language, customs and lifestyles of the local people.
