Who requires a visa?
The following are not required to have a visa for entry into Trinidad & Tobago:
Citizens of Commonwealth countries with the exception of: Australia, India, New Zealand, Cameroon, Fiji, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Guinea and Tanzania.
Citizens of European Union Countries.
Nationals whose countries have established visa abolition agreements with Trinidad and Tobago.
Nationals of countries which have entered into reciprocal visa agreements with the Government of Trinidad & Tobago.
Citizens of USA on vacation for three months or less.
Citizens of Venezuela arriving from Venezuela on vacation for fourteen (14) days or less. Holders of Venezuelan official and diplomatic passports accredited to Trinidad and Tobago are exempted from the visa requirements for the period of their assignment. Holders of Venezuelan official and diplomatic passports not accredited to Trinidad and Tobago on official missions are exempted from visa requirements of one month or less.
Citizens of Suriname, Martinique, Guadeloupe, French Guiana and the Netherlands Antilles (Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, St. Eustatius, St. Maarten and Saba).
Holders of Organization of American States (OAS) passports.
Citizens of South Africa entering Trinidad and Tobago for religious, cultural, sporting or educational activities. For any other purpose applications for visas must be referred.
What documents will be required?
Valid passport required by all persons aged 16 years and over. Passport must be valid at least for the 6 months from date of return.
Note: All visitors must be in possession of a valid return ticket to their country of residence or citizenship and sufficient funds to maintain themselves whilst in Trinidad & Tobago.
Application requirements: (a) Completed application form. (b) One passport-size photograph. (c) Valid passport. (d) Letter of invitation or evidence of hotel booking. (e) Letter from employer. (f) Fee. (g) Travel itinerary.

Time required to issue visa:
Tourist visas will normally be issued within 10 working days. Applications from the following nationals may take up to 4 weeks: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, China, Croatia, Cuba, Macedonia, Korea (Dem Rep), Serbia and Montenegro, Slovenia, and Vietnam.

What is the cost of a visa?
Tourist: £8.50. Business (multiple-entry): £8.50 per entry. A non-refundable processing fee of approximately US$15 must be paid at the time of application.
How long is the visa valid for?
90 days.
Other information:
Please be advised that ALL persons visiting Trinidad and Tobago require a valid passports, even those under the age of 16. The only exception is for children who are already endorsed on their parent's passport.
