Master of Engineering (MEng) in Automotive Systems - Taught in English:
Photo of Contact Page - Master of Engineering in Automotive Systems, GermanyThis is a full-time program taught over 3 semesters (1.5 years) and begins in September each year. The program is designed for students who wish to become highly qualified engineers in the field of automotive systems for the development of feedback control systems, automotive software and automotive electronics.

As the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences is located in the very heart of the European automotive industry, students benefit from our close links to the many industrial companies situated in the area. Among these are global players such as Audi, Behr, Bosch, Daimler, Porsche and Festo.

Through company visits, project work and case studies, students have the chance to gain knowledge in modern methods of development and production.

Course Content:
During the first semester of the program, all students take the same courses. Students choose their major during the first semester and are then divided into these different fields of study during the second semester. Students of the Master of Engineering in Automotive Systems choose between three possible majors:

- Car Electronics: Graduates will have the chance to work in the field of specification, development and testing of control units and their integration in the car, taking into account car specific basic conditions like function, packaging,
EMC etc.

- Vehicle Dynamics: Gradutes will have the chance to work in the field of Development and Testing of innovative automotive functions for steering, suspension and powertrain to improve ride & handling, stability, driveability and
fuel economy.

- Software-Based Automotive Systems: Graduates will have the chance to work in the field of development, market launch and supervision of vehicle series production of suitable and innovative car communication systems and
of safe software.

In the third semester, students complete a master's thesis, preferably in the industry, and a module on soft skills.

German Language & Culture Program:
This 3-week course is offered in September, giving students the opportunity to take German language lessons and learn about German culture.

The Technical University of Catalonia in Barcelona (UPC) was founded in March 1971, and is a public university that specialises in the fields of architecture, engineering, merchant seaman-ship, economics, health sciences and applied mathematics. Pre-enrolment is the main system for admission at UPC. The Preenrolment Office of the Generalitat of Catalonia Catalan government) is responsible for all admissions in the Catalan public university system. HECTOR School of Engineering and Management, Karlsruhe

Welcome to the HECTOR School of Engineering and Management. The School named after Dr. h.c. Hans-Werner HECTOR, the co-founder of the software company SAP – is run in cooperation with four University Departments and the International Department of the Universität Karlsruhe (TH). Founded in September 2004 the HECTOR School of Engineering and Management at the Universität Karlsruhe (TH) can be best described as innovative preparatory training for young professionals to assume extended responsibilities in general management.

We are located at the Universität Karlsruhe (TH) in Karlsruhe, Southwest Germany. Five different Executive Master Programs in Engineering and Business Administration/Finance are offered at the HECTOR School of Engineering and Management.

The program combines a solid base in business administration and management with specialized and cutting-edge methodology in engineering in the context of mechanical engineering, product development, operations, financial engineering, information engineering and electrical engineering technology.
