Photo of Contact Page - Master of Engineering in Automotive Systems, GermanyThis is a full-time program taught over 3 semesters (1.5 years) and begins in September each year. The program is designed for students who wish to become highly qualified engineers in the field of automotive systems for the development of feedback control systems, automotive software and automotive electronics.

As the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences is located in the very heart of the European automotive industry, students benefit from our close links to the many industrial companies situated in the area. Among these are global players such as Audi, Behr, Bosch, Daimler, Porsche and Festo.

Through company visits, project work and case studies, students have the chance to gain knowledge in modern methods of development and production.

Course Content:
During the first semester of the program, all students take the same courses. Students choose their major during the first semester and are then divided into these different fields of study during the second semester. Students of the Master of Engineering in Automotive Systems choose between three possible majors:

- Car Electronics: Graduates will have the chance to work in the field of specification, development and testing of control units and their integration in the car, taking into account car specific basic conditions like function, packaging,
EMC etc.

- Vehicle Dynamics: Gradutes will have the chance to work in the field of Development and Testing of innovative automotive functions for steering, suspension and powertrain to improve ride & handling, stability, driveability and
fuel economy.

- Software-Based Automotive Systems: Graduates will have the chance to work in the field of development, market launch and supervision of vehicle series production of suitable and innovative car communication systems and
of safe software.

In the third semester, students complete a master's thesis, preferably in the industry, and a module on soft skills.

German Language & Culture Program:
This 3-week course is offered in September, giving students the opportunity to take German language lessons and learn about German culture.

Calling students from Germany and internationally! Founded in 1995, Marbella Design Academy is a leading international design school in Spain, that is state-recognised by the Ministry of Education.

The BA degree titles our students are awarded after graduation from Marbella Design Academy are state-recognised in the UK.

We offer 3-year validated programmes in Interior Architecture, Graphic Design & Fashion Design, taught entirely in English. These Bachelor of Arts - BA (Hons) degrees are awarded by Middlesex University London.

Graduates can apply for an additional 10 months study in the UK, to earn a Masters Degree at Middlesex University London or any other university of their choice.

Students from all over the world have come to Spain to study at the Marbella Design Academy. We also offer an intensive 3-month Foundation Course and various summer courses.
