University College Cork:
UCC is Ireland's leading university (named University of the Year for 2003-2004) with a very wide range of courses, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and an extensive programme for international students. UCC welcomes over 1700 international students every year. From more than 75 countries worldwide, some students come for a year or less as visiting students; others enroll as full-time students for the duration of our programmes. University College Cork has eight faculties: Arts, Celtic Studies, Commerce, Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Law, Medicine and Science. Our modern campus combines early and modern architecture along a riverside garden setting close to the city centre. The campus radiates a warm and intimate atmosphere which greatly enhances the learning environment.
