Accounting and Payroll Administration Program:
The objective of this program is to give you hands-on training in the key areas of accounting and payroll.
In addition to these core skills, you will learn how to use computerized accounting programs such as Simply Accounting and ACCPAC, and will acquire all the necessary skills to keep a set of books, both manually and on a computerized system.
When you graduate, you will meet the requirements to receive the Payroll Compliance Practitioner certification from the Certified Payroll Management Program (CPMP).
This certification is nationally recognized as the standard of excellence for payroll training so you can be confident that your CDI diploma is recognized and respected in the business world.
Accounting Certificate Program:
The objective of this program for individuals who are looking to pursue a rewarding career in accounting is to give a firm understanding of the accounting world, as well as provide hands-on training in Simply Accounting and ACCPAC automated business accounting systems.

The CDI College Travel and Tourism program combines technical computer training with the necessary sales skills for a career-focused education.
Learn to operate the two main computer reservation systems used in Canadian travel agencies; Apollo and SABRE.
Learn about worldwide tourist destinations, cruises, ticketing, tariffs and travel agency operations. After graduation, apply for jobs such as a tour operator, airline attendant, travel agent or cruise ship facilitator, for example.
Online Marketing and Social Media Diploma Program:
CDI College's Online Marketing & Social Media program provides focused and current training in the key areas of digital marketing and social media marketing - digital marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Search Engine Marketing (SEM), content creation and outreach, effective business writing, and a detailed education in social media monitoring and aggregation tools.
Also, before graduation, you will participate in a practicum, to test your new skills and knowledge in the workplace.
Web Development Diploma Program:
In the Web Development course, you will gain a solid education regarding the application development practices in computer and web environments. Learn the language-independent programming concepts and techniques such as program flow, iteration, programming constructs of sequence, selection and decision-making in both a traditional programming and object-oriented methodologies.
This allows you to master the language specific syntax and coding requirements to translate logical program design into fully functional web applications. The Web Development program concludes with a 6-week, 180-hour practicum placement.
Mobile Applications Development diploma program:

The program includes a six-week, 180-hour practicum placement in a real application development workplace. Upon completion of this program, students will be able to develop fully functional computer, Web and mobile applications using a variety of development platforms and techniques.
Early Childhood Education:
The Level II Early Childhood Education program prepares you to work with children up to 12 years of age by providing you a practical approach to child care learning.
The Basic Early Childhood Education program meets the instructional and practicum hours as set down by Alberta Family and Social Services, Daycare Staff Qualifications Branch.
The program combines lectures, hands-on practical experience, discussions, video presentations and guest speakers. You will learn how to design drama, music and science programs for children.
Develop valuable team building skills and knowledge of family systems. When you graduate, you will meet the requirements to obtain your Level III certification in Early Childhood Education.
Early Childhood Education: Advanced Program:
In order to take this advanced-level program, you must have first completed the basic-level certification.
The Advanced – Level III Early Childhood Education program has been designed to build upon your knowledge and upgrade your skills in children’s education.
Receive guidance and training in the areas of Child Development, Relationships, Programming and Career-related subjects. Courses include Values Formation, Family Systems and Introduction to Day Care Management, Multi-Channel Experiences in Art.
When you graduate, you will meet the requirements of Level III certification in Early Childhood Education.
Pharmacy Technician Program:
This program trains you in the skills and knowledge necessary to work in a pharmacy environment in various health care settings.
This program will prepare you to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in community pharmacies and retail environments.
Emphasizing a customer-centered approach, this program also helps develop the proper attitude and sense of responsibility necessary for success in pharmacy career fields.
Typical duties of a Pharmacy Technicians include for example; filling prescriptions, counting pills, measuring medications, labeling products, providing patients with background information regarding their medications, verifying prescriptions, maintaining patient records, organizing insurance information, and performing clerical duties as necessary.
Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant Diploma Program:
Physiotherapist assistants and occupational therapist assistants work with and under the supervision of physiotherapists and occupational therapists. CDI College's Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant (Occupational Therapist Assistant - Physiotherapist Assistant) program teaches the basic knowledge, skills, values and behaviours needed for employment in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centres, community and private agencies.
Courses in the CDI College Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program focus on understanding human development and the human body. You will study body mechanics and systems, anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, and therapeutic exercise. Learn about client care, and the invaluable skills of client communications and record management. In addition to classroom study, you are required to complete clinical placements in the community, and can complete your practicum in whichever specialty area you choose.
