Accounting and Payroll Administrator Program:
The Accounting and Payroll Administrator diploma program combines office administration and computer training with a practical foundation in payroll, accounting methods and specialized accounting software such as QuickBooks and Simply Accounting.
A five-week practicum will give you an opportunity to put your skills to use in the field.
As a graduate of this program, you'll also receive Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification through the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA).
Payroll and Income Tax Practitioner Certificate Program:
This training program is ideal for students who already have a working knowledge of computer systems and experience in office environments.
Develop your accounting skills, and learn how to use modern accounting software applications, such as Simply Accounting.
Learn about the payroll practice, the annual payroll cycle, and income tax return preparation. Graduates are able to apply to a range of positions in a wide variety of areas in the job market.
Office Administration Program:

Human Resources Professional Program:
Vancouver Career College's 39-week diploma program provides students with a practical foundation in HR practices, and will train you to work in the human resources department of any company.
The program combines office administration with practical human resource management skills, while the core curriculum focuses on human resources best practices.
Learn how to attract and retain staff; how to adhere to federal employment legislation; and how to develop and administer a benefits and compensation program.

Legal Administrative Assistant Diploma Program:

The Legal Administrative Assistant program combines general office administration training with specialized legal courses so students develop a broad understanding of the day-to-day practices of a law office.
Learn about the Canadian courts system, legal rights, practices and procedures. Study criminal law, civil litigation, real estate and conveyance, wills, estates and more. Gain hands-on experience through a five-week practicum.
Career opportunities: Positions in a variety of legal settings such as law offices, firms and legal departments of large corporations. Opportunities also exist in the court system, government offices and real estate firms.
Paralegal Diploma Program:
Paralegals are key players in law offices and legal firms. Lawyers rely on them to perform the crucial duties that keep cases on track and ensure things don’t come to a costly grinding halt.
The Paralegal Assistant program provides a broad overview of the Canadian legal system, Legal Professional Act and Rules of the Law Society of BC. Students will learn about intellectual property, estates planning, and credit and collection procedures.
Other major topics include family law, real estate law, criminal law, commercial law, corporate law and insurance law. Students will also master legal office procedures and documentation as well as methods for legal research and interviewing.

Medical Office Assistant Program:
In our Medical Office Assistant diploma program, you'll learn to organize a medical office, prepare and administer basic medical office tests and respond to questions about medical conditions and prescriptions.
You'll also receive First Aid and CPR training and certification. In addition, you will learn general office procedures and administration including the use of medical billing software. You will also receive First Aid and CPR training and certification.
As a graduate of this program, you will be prepared to begin a career as an Admitting Clerk, Emergency Room Admitting Clerk, Medical Secretary, Medical Transcriptionist, Medical Receptionist, Medical Billing Clerk or Medical Office Assistant.

Pharmacy Assistant Program:
Pharmacy Assistant is becoming an increasingly essential position as a result of pharmacists taking a more active role in drug therapy and the counseling of their patients.
Students will be trained in pharmacology, dispensing (community & hospital), inventory, billing and administration, as well as customer service skills. You will also receive First Aid and CPR training and certification.
As as successful graduate of this program, you will be in great demand. A Canadian Journal of Hospital Pharmacy study states, “86 per cent of all graduates of Pharmacy Assistant / Technician programs found work in their field.”
Hospitality Management Diploma (AHLA):
You'll learn staff supervision techniques, food and beverage service management, accounting and human resource administration. You'll also receive BC FoodSafe and Serving It Right certificates as well as American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) certificates that may be transferable to other colleges and universities.

International Trade Program (FITT):
Millions of new import and export trade opportunities are being created through NAFTA), APEC and WTO agreements. Vancouver Career College has partnered with FITT (Forum for International Trade Training), Canada’s national professional organization, to deliver the FITT skills program, including import and export management.
The FITTskills program focuses on the practical aspects of international business, including logistics, nation-by-nation marketing opportunities, trade finance, market entry strategies and international management techniques.
Graduates of the program will be able to work in, manage, or own an import or export business, whether it’s a small business or a multi-national trading company.
This program would also be an asset for those students applying for positions as customs agents, consulate officers and government trade officers.
Global Supply Chain Management and International Trade Diploma:
The growing supply chain industry sector is one of the largest providers of employment in Canada, and is expected to continue to grow steadily into the future, with tens of thousands of new positions being added each year. Supply chain management focuses on the logistics of the flow of goods and services from suppliers to consumers. It includes areas such as procurement, storage, transportation and distribution, and requires knowledge in supply and demand estimation and forecasting, negotiation, operations planning, financial planning, technical requirements and IT.
The Global Supply Chain Management and International Trade program at Vancouver Career College prepares students for an exciting career in international trade and logistics. The course covers procurement, storage, transportation, supply and demand estimation and forecasting, operations planning, and negotiation. Learn how to support company strategy, enhance competitive advantage and customer satisfaction in order to expand businesses internationally.
Our program is partnered with the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT), so students will receive a FITT diploma in International Trade upon graduation - a globally recognized certification.
Early Childhood Education Certificate Program:
The Vancouver Career College early childhood education program (43-weeks) combines theory and practical knowledge to prepare you for this highly rewarding career.
The core curriculum focuses on child growth and development, relationship building, behaviour management, guidance skills, health, safety and program planning.
Students also learn how to use art, drama, music and movement to enable learning.
Students can also apply for an Assistant Licence to become an Assistant through the Early Childhood Education Registry after completing the required courses.
Hands-on training is also an important part of the program, with a number of observation modules designed so that students work with trained educators and Vancouver Career College faculty.
There is great demand in most communities for enthusiastic and well-trained childcare graduates to fill a variety of dynamic positions in Early Childhood Education.

TESL - Teaching English Second Language Program:
TESL (or TEFL or TESOL), means Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language, and a TESL certificate is the major qualification required to teach English abroad.
Students learn how to create learner-centred lessons, manage classes and evaluate learners. With a supervised TESL / TESOL practicum component, graduates gain real classroom experience.
Graduate may choose to apply for teaching jobs in Canada and internationally. Though not an admissions requirement, it is recommended that students have completed or nearing completion of a bachelor’s degree.
