The University of Law:
The University of Law is one of the UK's longest-established specialist providers of legal education and training in the UK and now offers professionally focused degrees in Criminology, Law and Policing, and through our Business School, Business degrees, plus postgraduate legal training and Master's degrees designed by qualified experts to help students advance at any stage of their career. In fact, we've trained more practising lawyers in the UK than anyone else. We can trace our origins to 1876 with the formation of leading tutorial firm Gibson & Weldon and now have our own Business School.

With a rich heritage and a reputation for innovation and contemporary teaching practices, we offer campuses in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Guildford, Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham, as well as our GDL and LPC courses being taught in the University of East Anglia, the University of Exeter, the University of Reading and the University of Liverpool.

Home to one of the biggest student communities in the UK, Manchester is buzzing with culture, sports and nightlife. Our campus is located in the centre of the city, close to a vast range of law firms and businesses.

The University of Law, Nottingham
Our Nottingham campus is ideally situated within the Business District adjacent to Nottingham Castle and close to many of the city's top law firms and businesses. The campus provides modern teaching facilities and innovative student spaces, all within walking distance of numerous historic pubs, restaurants, theatres and entertainment venues.

Student Association:

All students are automatically members of the University's Student Association (SA). The SA is tasked with enhancing your student and academic experience by having a strong representation of the student cohort.

The SA primarily supports students by being a strong and active voice for you at all levels of the University. The Student Association President leads on ensuring the student voice is heard in committees and working groups that cover a range of subjects and topics across the University.

You can join a SA Events Committee to help develop extra-curricular activities at your campus.

Employability :

The University of Law's dedicated Employability Service gives students access to work experience and pro bono opportunities and legal vacancies as soon as they accept their place. The result is excellent employability statistics: 97% of our full-time 2016/17 and accelerated 2017/17 LPC students graduating in summer 2017 secured employment, a training contract, or further study within nine months of successfully completing their course, while 92% of our full-time UK LLB students graduating in 2017 secured employment or further study within six months of successfully completing their course.
