With three start dates per year (February, June and October), you can apply at any time. This course is delivered through a world beating study environment, with fantastic learning materials, and unlimited support from expert tutors.
Our graphic design course gives you the ability to generate great creative ideas, as well as the skills to execute them. The course is industry focused, with the emphasis on multi-disciplinary approaches to problem solving.
Our students learn to be equally at home using both traditional graphic and illustration media and the latest digital technology. They work on a range of practical projects, and learn how to respond to design problems across a range of areas including book and magazine design, book and poster illustration, corporate communications and point of sale.
Students gain the skills needed to work as a professional designer in the fast moving area of graphic design communication, as well as the skills to market themselves professionally, so that they can work either as part of a design team, or as a freelance designer working for both private and corporate clients.
Completion of Year 1 leads to the award of the Certificate of Higher Education (Cert. HE) and completion of Year 2 leads to the award of the Diploma of Higher Education (Dip. HE). Completion of Year 3 leads to the Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) degree.
