Play Chess Minefields Game - Online Strategy Puzzle
Play a stimulating, online chess-based puzzle game with UNLIMITED levels where you must place your pieces onto safe squares on a chess board filled with attacking opponents! Chess Minefields is an innovative, interactive chess brain teaser game and strategy survival challenge where you never play the same level twice! Your task is to place white colored chess pieces onto a board that is littered with black pieces that are attacking most of the vacant squares! Playing against the clock, you must figure out which squares are ‘safe’ from opponent pressure, and quickly place your pieces there.
Skills required: This is a fun and fast-paced visual puzzle game where fast reactions, good hand-eye coordination skills, and sharp analytical thinking skills must all be applied at speed. Basic knowledge of how chess pieces move is also essential to your chances of sustained success. You must also use logic and show a willingness to use the ‘process of elimination’. Survey the board and quickly eliminate the squares ‘under attack’ from your consideration. This requires deep concentration, focus, and stamina!
How to Play: A Flash-based, chess puzzle / action game for notebook, laptop and desktop PC / Mac (with certain browsers). In each level, you are presented with a chess board already occupied by numerous black (opponent) pieces. You must place your own white pieces onto ‘safe’ squares, i.e., squares that are not under attack by the black pieces. In some levels, you only have to place one piece. Other times, you may have to place 2 or 3 pieces onto the board to complete it.
Using your computer mouse or touchpad, simply click on the square you want to place your white piece. You begin each run with 6 lives, and must try to survive for as long as possible by completing as many boards / levels as you can. You lose one life if you place a piece onto an incorrect square / a square under attack. You also lose a life if you run out of time; you have 30 seconds to complete each level (indicated by the clock on the right-hand side of the play area). However, you earn an extra life if you successfully complete 5 boards in a row without error. You can see your number of remaining lives in the top right corner of the play area.
