Matching 5 Game for Kids - Crystal Clear
Crystal Clear is an easy-to-play and addicting matching game for kids of all ages where you simply have to group 5 or more same-colored crystals together by moving individual crystals around a large grid. The grouped crystals must be touching off of each other horizontally and/or vertically in order to produce a valid match and ‘eliminate’ that group from the grid. The only catch is that the crystal you choose to move must have an available path to its intended destination, i.e., there has to be a horizontal / vertical route (road) to its ‘end point’ which is not blocked by any other crystals. Score points for each eliminated group of 5, and try to score as high as possible before the grid fills up!
This quirky, mouse-clicking matching puzzle requires good strategic planning and color coordination. Placing crystals in strategically advantageous positions is the key to success. However, you won’t have time to pick and choose your matches at all times as supplementary crystals are added to the game grid immediately after you complete a ‘move’. Use special ‘exploding crystals’ and other Power Ups to your benefit as you try to claw your way to the top of the leaderboard. Your objective is ‘crystal clear’! Happy matching!
How to Play: Your objective is to score as many points as possible by moving crystals around the game grid in order to make matches of 5 or more of the same color. To make a matching group, the same-colored crystals must be adjacent to each other either horizontally, vertically, or a mixture of both. To move a crystal, simply Left Click on it using your computer mouse or touchpad, and then click on the area of the game grid that you want to move it to. There has to be a clear ‘right angled’ path between the crystal’s starting point, and where you want it to go to.
If you create a matching group of 5 or more, those crystals are eliminated from the grid, and you score points toward your total at the bottom of the game screen. Each time you make a move, three more crystals are added randomly around the grid. Once the grid is full, and there are no more possible matches to be made, it’s game over. Special ‘Cracked’ Crystals explode when made into a match, clearing a large path around where that crystal was positioned. A‘Heart’ Crystal change the color of each crystal that it touches, while ‘Locked’ Crystals cannot be moved. Good luck!
