Well, look no further! Ask Guru Joe is a light-hearted online answer-generator game for kids who do not take life too seriously or anyone looking for a simple bit of fun online. You have to key in a random or wacky yes/no-type question for the eccentric fortune teller to answer (He claims to be able to answer any question you can think of!) Sounds pretty fishy, but it’s all for a good laugh.
How to Play: Guru Joe works just like a Magic 8 Ball. Instead of shaking the ball, here you type in any question with a yes or no answer, and the spiritual star-gazer peers into his crystal ball - and comes up with some advice or a possible solution, albeit wacky. Now, you can get answers to the many and wonderful queries that have have floating around in your mind for so long, such as: Can penguins actually fly…?, Is the sky really blue…?, Will the Chicago Cubs ever win the World Series again…? Remember, asking Guru Joe a question is for a bit of light-hearted entertainment, so don’t take his answers literally! You need to take them with a pinch of (magic) salt. Questions at the ready – it’s time to put Guru Joe to the test!
The game controls are very simple. Using your computer mouse or touchpad, Left Click into the Text Box underneath Guru Joe’s Crystal Ball. Type in your question using your keyboard, then click on the ‘Ask’ button, or hit your Return Key. Guru Joe contemplates your intelligent and interesting question for a few moments, and then delivers his answer or thoughts. It’s not always a direct ‘yes’ or ‘no’, but he always gives a thumbs up or thumbs down if it’s a positive or negative response. If you make a mistake when typing, click on the ‘Reset’ button to clear all of the text from the box. Tip: Remember that Guru Joe is just on a different wavelength! Don’t get upset if he says, for example, that your favorite football team aren’t going to win the Superbowl.
