Physics-based Rocket Launching Game - Rocket Science
When describing something relatively straight-forward, people often say “it’s not rocket science”. However, that expression certainly doesn’t apply to this challenging, physics-based launching puzzle - which very much "is" Rocket Science! Here, you have to drag, rotate, and launch explosive rocket missiles at awkwardly-positioned planets in a series of tricky levels. Your rockets must be fired from a designated, outlined area, and you have to hit at least one planet with a projectile in order to progress. You might even have to launch simultaneous rockets in different directions, so be prepared for a challenge that is truly ‘out of this world’.
This fun and innovative rocket launching game requires a good deal of logical thinking and precision. Engineering a solution to each level requires the ability to foresee the resultant reaction of your propelled missile, so a good understanding of angles and trajectory is key. You never know too; Maybe one day NASA will come calling at your door! Until then, enjoy this cool problem-solving brain teaser!
How to Play: In each of the 25 increasingly difficult levels, your objective is to position your rocket (or rockets) carefully within the designated firing area so that when you click ‘Fire’, your rocket/s hit the target planets. Using your computer mouse or touchpad, Left Click and drag your rocket around the outlined area. Then when needed, click and rotate any one of the corner nodes in order to change the direction that the rocket is pointing in (a white dotted line appears and acts as a flight path indicator). When you are ready to launch the missile, click the ‘Fire’ button in the top left corner of the game screen.
You must destroy all of the bronze, lava-colored planets in each level in order to progress (the first level is an exception to this rule). You score extra points for also eliminating the silver and gold-colored planets, but the bronze-colored planets are the essential targets. In later levels, you may have more than one rocket in your arsenal. In this instance, all rockets are fired simultaneously once you click on the ‘Fire’ button. Also in later levels, you may have to nudge ledges and other obstacles out of the way in order to create clear pathways. Ok rocket scientist, the rest is up to you to solve!
