Santa Puzzle Game for Kids - Santa’s Chimney Trouble
Help Santa Claus deliver gifts (sometimes called presents in the North Pole) to some good children who are sound asleep by creating an intricate pathway from the chimney all the way down to the living room of the house! Santa’s Chimney Trouble is a challenging maze-building puzzle game where you have to use your engineering know-how and problem solving skills to aid a lost and bewildered Santa Claus deliver his precious gifts this Holiday Season! Poor Santa suddenly finds himself in a new neighborhood where the chimneys haven’t been properly constructed, so he needs your help to quickly build a brick passageway from the roof to the living room using an array of differently-shaped blocks. As usual, Santa is in a hurry, so your chimney passage construction needs to be complete as soon as his reindeer land on the roof in each level.
This highly-stimulating and innovative brain teaser game requires very quick and decisive thinking (you have less than 90 seconds to construct your passageway each time). You have to make snap decisions regarding where each piece of your passageway should be placed (each ‘pipeline-style’ block is normally different in design from the next). You really need to see the bigger picture here to help ensure that Santa can crawl successfully through to the living room. Ok, there’s no time to waste! It’s really up to you to save Christmas for these kids and Santa!
How to Play: In each of the 10 increasingly difficult levels, your goal is to quickly construct a valid pipeline passageway that Santa can crawl through – from the chimney all the way to the living room. Create the pathway using randomly-generated blocks, most of which have a channel through the middle that Santa can just fit through. Using your computer mouse or touchpad, Left Click to add a block to the game screen (You cannot add a block to areas shaded in red). You see a general outline of the block before you place it in position, and this gives you a good idea of where you might want to position it (e.g. it would be ideal to have a block that sends Santa straight down once he enters the chimney).
Once Santa arrives on the roof, he crawls through your passageway and (hopefully) reaches the living room where he can deliver the gifts. However, if you force Santa out into the open of to a dead end, he gets ‘lost’ and you fail the level. If you give Santa a variety of options to choose from (some blocks have more than one entry / exit point), he first tries the most direct option before coming back and trying a different route if needed. Note that you cannot control Santa’s movements. If you want to eliminate a block, first click on the Bulldozer icon in the bottom right corner of the game screen, and then click on the block you want to get rid of. Keep an eye on the clock in the top right corner of the game screen. When you complete your passageway, click on the ‘I’m Ready’ button to summon Santa to do his hard work. Enjoy the problem busting!
