Le Français Face à Face, Loire Valley:
Located in the famous Loire Valley, in the city of Angers in western France, Le Francais Face à Face offers one-to-one French language immersion programmes for people of all levels - beginner to advanced. Angers is situated in the Maine-et-Loire department and is approximately 300 km (190 miles) south-west of Paris. Whether you wish to acquire the language for private or professional purposes, whether you are a total beginner or already at ease in the language, Le Francais Face à Face and our custom-made residential programmes help you push your knowledge further and gain confidence within a very short time.

Open all year round, we give you the opportunity to enjoy a 1, 2 or 3-week stay in France with a private teacher boosting your skills in French while you live the French way of life in a spacious and beautiful loft. Each of our private immersion programmes is designed to meet your specific needs and provides you with fully personalised tuition. Courses take place in the loft where you are accommodated, in the very center of Angers.

- One-to-one intensive French programme: 35 hours / 5 days – suitable for all levels:
Available all year round, this course runs from Monday to Friday – you will arrive on Sunday and depart on Saturday. Spacious and modern accommodation is provided in a fully equipped loft. Active lunch (with your teacher) and active dinners upon request

- One-to-one intensive French programme: 28 hours / 4 days – suitable for all levels:
This intensive one-to-one course condenses a normal intensive week's course into just 4 days and is available all year round. It is ideal for those who are short of time.

- One-to-one semi-intensive French programme: 35h / 5 days – suitable for all levels:
This programme is available all year around and consists of 15 hours per week of French courses as well as visits / excursions / workshops (cooking classes, pottery etc). The programme runs from Monday to Friday. You will arrive on Sunday and depart on Saturday. Spacious and modern accommodation provided in a fully equipped loft. Active lunch with your teacher and active dinners upon request

- One-to-one intensive week-end: 18h / 2 days – suitable for intermediate or advanced levels:
Available all year round, this course runs on Saturday and Sunday – you will arrive on Friday and depart on Monday. Spacious and modern accommodation is provided in a fully equipped loft. Active lunch (with your teacher) and active dinners upon request (Friday and/or Saturday).

Le Francais Face à Face is located in Angers, described as a “bright and radiant city”. Angers – with a population of more than 200,000 inhabitants -- is the gateway to the Loire-Valley and is distinguished as much for the richness of its medieval heritage as for its cultural and economic dynamism. Built either side of the Maine river, Angers is a very pretty friendly town from which one can visit a wide range of castles and the world’s greatest example of needlework known as the Tapestry of the Apocalypse. Its imposing castle fortress, museums, gardens, shops and gastronomic restaurants and student life give life to the famous “Angevin softness”.

Last but not least, The Loire Valley, including Angers, is noted for the quality of its language; it is said, in fact, that the purest form of French is spoken here. Our immersion programmes in Angers offer the opportunity to experience France to the fullest--its people, its culture, and above all, its language.

Angers is easily accessible by train or by car, nearby the cities of Nantes (20 minutes by TGV train – and the International Airport of Nantes-Atlantique), Paris and Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport (1h30 by TGV train). We pick you up at the station of Angers and upon request at the International Airport of Nantes-Atlantique.

In order to ensure that you feel comfortable and at home and to help you fully to enjoy the French way of life, Le Francais Face à Face has selected a very modern, spacious and comfortable loft located in the very center of Angers, close to a range of shops and restaurants. This outstanding accommodation is beautifully decorated and provides a spacious bedroom and bathroom as well as a fully equipped kitchen and a space dedicated to the courses. The active lunches with your private teacher will take place in some nice restaurants in Angers. Dinners can also be arranged with your teacher upon request.
