Within the Business Unit Italy, Central and Eastern Europe (ICEE), we are looking for a Project Engineer to support the Scandinavian market from our Aarhus offices in Denmark.

Reporting directly to the Area CEO, in collaboration with all the departments, your role will be to provide support on water and wastewater treatment projects and proposals in the region.


Main Tasks

As a Water and Wastewater Project Engineer, you will be:

- responsible for coordinating and implementing the process design with our technical experts on different projects; / Assisting with designing wastewater collection and transmission systems as well as other water treatment systems;

- reading and evaluating the cost, quality, time and competitiveness of tender documents;

- elaborating the proposals and presentations in cooperation with the Danish and Group teams;

- providing support conducting alternative technology evaluations and innovative systems;

- responsible for internal deliverables (note design, technical analysis, legal, R & O matrix, cash flow, price sheet, organization performance ...) and external (division of responsibilities, planning implementation, partnership agreements, proposal given to the customer ...);

- helping the local and BU business developers, to anticipate and influence relationships with external stakeholders;

- assisting in developing and managing project schedules / Planning and scheduling the scope of work for the project

- part of the client management team

- working with outside sub-consultants

- collaborating to ensure that technical, quality, cost and client requirements are implemented

- preparing a range of reports to communicate project information to team members, clients, and other stakeholders

- Answering queries from client representatives regarding both general and technical issues;

- Actively monitoring work practices to ensure adherence to correct standards and procedures for safety and environmental performance.

This list of tasks is not exhaustive and shall be adapted according to the priorities of the region and BU.


Profile:

• Master’s degree in Environmental, Civil or Chemical engineering with and interest in water engineering field;

• 1-3 years of experience on a similar role;

• Knowledge of water/ wastewater treatment plants, pipeline infrastructure, pump stations and drainage systems;

• Technical curiosity, innovative mindset and able to challenge the norm;

• Analytical and solutions-oriented;

• Flexible and adaption skills
