Senior Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Accountant in a public practice CPA office.

• CPA designation.
• Proficiency with accounting and tax software (Case Ware and Jazz‑It is an asset).
• 4 or more years of public practice experience.
• Strong corporate and personal tax knowledge.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and effective communication (written and verbal).
• Strong time management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlines.

• Conduct detailed reviews of compilation, review and tax engagements.
• Prepare technical reports and summaries outlining engagement findings.
• Managing and preparing various types of returns.
• Supervising, coaching and providing timely feedback to junior team members.
• Filing GST, WCB and payroll remittances.
• Other related duties as required.

Salary will be based on level of experience and education. Expected range: $65,000 – $85,000 per year.
