Position: Abbotsford Perinatal Registered Nurse Needed
Fraser Health is hiring for a Casual Registered Nurse, Perinatal at Abbotsford Regional Hospital, BC. Engage with mothers and newborns during high-risk antepartum and postpartum care.
As a Casual Registered Nurse, you will provide critical care and ensure health promotion throughout pregnancy and newborn stages. This role includes a focus on family collaboration and effective nursing assessments. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating care plans and facilitating discharge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and their unborn babies upon admission

• Collaborate on optimal care strategies and modifications

• Document interventions and health outcomes accurately

• Teach patients and families about postpartum care

• Mentor nursing students and new staff on best practices
Requirements:

• Must hold an approved nursing degree

• Active BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse

• One year of clinical experience in perinatal nursing

• NRP and Basic Rescuer certifications required

• Strong organizational and communication skills
