Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Journeyperson Ironworkers for work on our Vitalus project in Abbotsford, BC.
- Schedule:
10 days on / 4 days off - Hours:
10 hours worked
- Unload and stack steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
- Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials
- Attach cables from a crane or derrick and direct crane operators with hand signals or radios
- Position steel units, align holes, and insert temporary bolts
- Assemble and erect prefabricated metal structures
- Ensure safe work practices, EH&S procedures, and OH&S compliance are followed on site
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Journeyperson Certificate
- Experience in industrial or construction
- Strong commitment to safety
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, bills of materials, and written instructions
- CSTS 20
- WHMIS 2015
- Fall Protection
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
- Crane and Rigging
- Valid Driver’s License
