For this role we are looking for an Electrical Engineer Surveyor to live in Aberdeen or the surrounding area, and you will be travelling to customers in the vicinity.
What will you be doing?As an Electrical Engineer Surveyor, you will be helping to prolong the life and safety of electrical equipment by spotting any potential defects as early as possible and ensuring everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.
You Will- Complete quality assessments and rigorous inspections of fixed wiring installations and electrical plant items
- Carry out detailed reporting with uncompromising accuracy
- Ensure all customers are compliant with vital regulations governing their industry in the UK (including EAW)
- Always provide the exceptional level of customer service expected from our team, whilst representing our company professionally
- A minimum standard starting salary of £40,500, depending on experience and location
- Salary uplifts after one and two years of continuous service
- Moving to £48,236 after one year
- Moving to £53,466 after two years of service
- £5,500 annual car cash allowance

- Ideally, a Level 4 electrical or engineering qualification and a good level of practical experience as a domestic and/or industrial electrician
- Alternatively, a Level 3 electrical qualification and a significant level of practical experience as a domestic and/or industrial electrician, alongside the willingness to work towards a Level 4 qualification
- Testing and inspection experience (City and Guilds 2391 would be ideal)
- Experience in hazardous area work (CompEX)
- The ability to communicate complex and technical problems with ease
- A good level of IT and literacy skills to complete detailed customer reports via tablets and mobile phones
